15 Dall-E Examples of AI Art for Beautiful Art & Images

Like Midjourney, you can use Dall-E 2 for all kinds of artistic mediums, whether painting, photos, or digital art like mine. The possibilities are endless!

Dall-E no longer offers free credits, but I was happy to see that 115 credits could be bought for only $15 USD.

Using DALL-E 2 to Capture the Perfect Photo

In addition to painting, I have also explored the possibilities of using DALL-E 2 to generate images that capture the perfect photo. These can be used for my blog posts, Instagram, design projects, etc.

Despite the 4x resolution from the original Dall-E to Dall-E 2, it’s not the best for generating realistic photographs (you’ll get better results developing more artistic, experimental styles of images). However, some of my photo-realistic generations came out looking pretty well!

Generating beautiful AI art images is not all Dall-E 2 is capable of. You can also inpaint (remove unwanted elements or replace them by erasing them and developing a new image) and outpaint (add a generative frame to extend your image or add new elements) at no additional cost.

Inpainting

I’ve used DAll-E to generate “an abstract pencil and watercolor art of a lonely robot holding a balloon,” To inpaint, I erased the area I wanted to replace, then gave it a new text prompt of what I wanted to replace: “an abstract pencil and watercolor art of a lonely robot with a human head holding a balloon.”

Outpainting

To outpaint, I placed a generation frame where I wanted to extend my image and gave it the text prompt, “abstract pencil and watercolor art of a lonely robot holding colorful balloons.”
